In the scope of "Technical Assistance for Fight Against Informal Economy and Improvement of Administrative Capacity of the Turkish Revenue Administration" Project implemented by CFCU, TRA and PwC, a workshop was held in July 2016 at Sapanca NG Hotel with the participation of credible academicians, staff of TEPAV, PwC Turkey and PwC UK.

Within the context of the project “Technical Assistance for Fight against Informal Economy and Improvement of Administrative Capacity of the Turkish Revenue Administration”, a meeting was held in May 2016 at Ankara Hilton Otel with the participation of the Head of Department Mr. Faruk Gözübüyük, the Head of Group Mr. Veyse Tekin, Uğur Akdoğan who is responsible for the first phase of this project, consortium partners PwC Turkey, PwC UK and TEPAV academicians Ahmet Burçin Yereli and Gülay Yılmaz.

The opening ceremony for the project “Technical Assistance for Fight against Informal Economy and Improvement of Administrative Capacity of the Turkish Revenue Administration” funded by IPA was held with high level participations of the Minister of Finance Naci Ağbal, representatives of related public institusions and NGOs and academicians at Ankara Hilton Hotel. Organizations was held at Ankara Hilton Hotel on 3 May 2016 with wide participation of domestic and foreign academicians.

The workshop on measuring the cost of tax compliance was held at OECD Ankara Multilateral Tax Center. Academicians who have relevant research on this topic, our presidency and representatives of public institutions attended the event.
The workshop started with the opening speech of Deputy President of TRA Mr. Semih Okumuş, and then Mr. Faruk Gözübüyük did a presentation on the progress and achievements of the action plan for reducing the size of informal economy.
